The Institute of Medicine at  the University of Bolton held a comprehensive Ear, Nose, Throat (ENT) course for junior doctors.

The course was led by experienced faculty of ENT specialists, who provided engaging and informative lectures, case-based discussions and hands-on training sessions.

It was designed to enhance the knowledge and skills of junior doctors in the diagnosis and management of common ENT conditions.

It covered a range of topics, including the anatomy and physiology of the ear, nose, and throat, common ENT conditions and identifying more complex conditions. 

In addition to theoretical knowledge, the course offered practical experience in performing ENT examinations and procedures, with hands-on training sessions, where junior doctors were able to practise techniques such as nasal endoscopy, otoscopy and flexible laryngoscopy.

Delegates praised the course for its engaging and informative content, as well as the quality of the faculty.

One delegate said: “It was a really excellent course, enjoyable, knowledgeable, with engaging lecturers, interactive and useful day-to-day.” 

Another said the course had been “incredible value for money” and that the facilities and knowledge of instructors was “outstanding”.
